Hello Everyone,

I have accounts on Facebook, Instagram and X, but I do not have a social media “presence”, and never wanted one. Most of my networking happens on LinkedIn, where I have thousands of connections. Not friends.

One of the reasons I returned to Facebook is that my few connections here actually know who I am. They're people I've met and engaged with, even though we may not be close.

I'm disappointed in the trend of current events and I intend to completely isolate myself from the “news” and digital media (aka Television) and Internet feeds. I will have time to fill.

I am the quintessential Baby Boomer, born in 1950. So, now approaching my 75th year, I am reflecting on the meaning of it all. So I may share some of those thoughts here and elsewhere.

Stay tuned.

Update

I'm beginning to understand why I came back to Facebook. Thanks to everyone who has reconnected. Especially those from the early days.

As we go through life we accumulate experiences, and in daily life we make observations based on those experiences. When I do so, I try to avoid sounding like some cranky old bastard who doesn’t like change. Change is inevitable. And there are good reasons to not trust what we remember. We’re better off observing what is Now.

At a certain point in my timeline, I acquired a teaching function. I am aligned with the thought that “Teaching and Learning are the Same”. Learning is my Purpose for connecting. I am grateful to have so many Teachers. When I get ready to share my thoughts, I may leave some breadcrumbs here to be picked up. Or not.

I promise no one will get hurt.
